The Role: 

Engine Transformation are looking for a Data & Campaigns Operations Manager to lead the delivery of personalised marketing campaigns, for our clients, through marketing platforms. We are the UK CRM agency for Toyota, Lexus, BMW, MINI, Hammerson and Honda. We build campaign workflows, run data counts and extractions, build, deploy and measure campaigns across direct mail, email and in app messaging.
We are looking to hire a Data & Campaigns Operations Manager to manage the people, systems and processes used to deliver campaigns, against the KPIs of time, quality, utilisation and yield.
The Data & Campaigns Operations Manager will directly manage a team of email developers and data developers, a team of 10 in total. They will report into the CRM Director who is also responsible for the client-facing teams, client relationships and revenue.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of CRM campaigns across all Engine clients
  • Responsible for the quality of delivery against the brief from the client team and consistently improving quality through training people and developing systems and processes
  • Responsible for utilisation of the email and data developers by managing workload, resource levels through a mixture of permanent and contract roles
  • Responsible for yield and improving yield to improve agency margins by being more efficient and effective
  • Managing a team of developers, setting personal and team objectives, identifying training needs and increasing knowledge of platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, Adestra, Apteco, Thunderhead and others
Key skills/experience:
  • Experience in leading and coaching teams responsible for marketing campaign deployments
  • A strong technical background in ESPs and/or Campaign Selection tools (Adobe campaign standard v6.1 and above and Salesforce ideal)
  • A strong understanding of technical problem solving within Adobe Campaign
  • Experience in managing a campaign/data delivery team focused on quality, utilisation, yield and development of expertise in technology platforms
  • Identify opportunities for automation, minimising repetitive tasks and tailoring the tools available, and/or investigating new options to deliver the required output
  • Identifying efficiencies that can be made in the builds for triggered and automated campaigns.
  • A strong commitment to accuracy and quality output – ensuring that processes such as QC are put in place and followed for campaign selection/delivery accuracy
